Application
Sodium hypophosphite is used as:
- reducing agent in the coating of Ni, Co, Sn metals and plastics;
- antioxidant (prevents discoloration of alkyd resins in their preparation);
- PVC stabilizer and polyurethanes;
- a reagent for the photometric determination of As (III) and Sb (III), etc.
